This weekend is Water-Efficient Products Sales Tax Holiday weekend. During the Memorial Day holiday (May 27-29), Texans can buy a list of approved water-efficient products sales tax free!
Eligible items include:
soaker or drip-irrigation hoses
moisture controls for a sprinkler or irrigation system
mulch
rain barrels or alternative rain and moisture collection system
permeable ground cover surfaces that allows water to reach underground basins, aquifers or water collection points
plants, trees and grasses
water-saving surfactants
soil and compost
